GATE Essex is excited to invite schools, teachers, and those working in support services to join us at the Roots and Rights Conference – a special event celebrating Gypsy and Traveller communities and the important role they play in our society.

📅 When: Thursday 16th October 2025

📍Where: Chapter House, Chelmsford, CM1 1NX

🕤 Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Gypsy and Traveller history, culture, and traditions, while also hearing real stories from community members. The day will feature inspiring talks, interactive workshops, and open conversations about how we can work together to create more inclusive schools and services.

By coming along, you’ll discover practical ways to support young people, challenge stereotypes, and build stronger connections across our communities. Whether you’re an educator, a youth worker, or part of a local service, your presence will make a difference.

The Roots and Rights Conference isn’t just about listening – it’s about celebrating, sharing, and growing together. We’d love for you to be part of it.

🎟 Tickets are available now – sign up today and help us create a future where everyone feels welcome and valued.
