Claire Rice, BSc MA, is a housed Romany Gypsy from Uttlesford, Essex, dedicated to advocating for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller rights. As Project Coordinator for GaTEssex and Drive2Survive, she leads community-led initiatives tackling discrimination, promoting cultural heritage, and influencing policy. Her work spans local and national levels, focusing on education, housing, and preserving nomadic traditions.
